ZUNE ARTS LAIKA
Working with artist Ro Rao, we took advantage of an historical event — the Russian
launch of a dog into outer space in 1957 — and reinterpreted it. What would happen if Laika had landed? And where? What if it were a dog utopia, full of dog toys & trees
made of bacon? Is finding utopia worth it if you’ve no one to share it with? What if
you can’t go home?

The accompanying banner campaign invited viewers to peer through
a telescope to find Laika.
Once she was found, the viewer was invited to watch the film
on the Zune Arts website.
